Wake up with our morning movement session on the beach. After breakfast we hop aboard the foot ferry headed over to Russell, the historic capital of New Zealand. We then jump in the van and make our way out to Oke Bay, Rawhiti, to start the Cape Brett Track. The 16km hike out to the cape and lighthouse traverses through native bush and promises spectacular coastal scenery. We will spend the night in the hut located out on the tip of the cape and fall asleep to the soothing sounds of native birds and crashing waves.
This is a big day and, while very challenging at times, it will bring rewarding views and unforgettable memories.
DAY 3

Today we can rest our weary legs and catch the water taxi back to Rawhiti. If sea conditions permit, we will pass through the famous ‘Hole in the Rock’ of Motukokako, and stop to sing a waiata (song) in the cathedral-like cave; making for an unforgettable experience.
After some time to freshen up, we have a captivating Maori cultural experience at the Waitangi Treaty Grounds - New Zealand's most historic site.
Later in the afternoon we will soak in the healing waters of the local natural hot springs and let the ancient energy and earthly minerals permeate your body and revitalise your senses.

After lunch we head out to a little slice of paradise in a remote location. Here we will have time to relax and soak up some rays, have a refreshing dip, or enjoy picturesque views atop what we call ‘Freedom Rock’. We will also participate in putting down a traditional Maori hangi which we will enjoy for dinner later that evening. You will get to taste Papa Brown's fry bread; world famous in NZ and an experience all on its own! After dinner, it's time for our reflection session, then ‘family tradition’ around the fire, and if you're up for it, a night-time glow swim.
