This was truly a trip of a lifetime; it was without a doubt the best commitment I’ve ever made. I wouldn’t have wanted to explore New Zealand any other way then with Mona-Jane and Maihi. No, not at all! It’s not about how fit you are, but rather having character building experiences. A moderate level of all-round fitness is recommended and will definitely make things more enjoyable.

We will send out a recommended gear list when you are confirmed on the trip.
You don't need any fancy kit, but there will be some basics that will serve you well to have. Eg. comfy backpack for our overnight hike, comfy shoes for hiking long distances, and weather appropriate clothing.
We can provide sleeping bags if required.

That would be nice haha, but unfortunately, No. As people join us from all around the world, flights are not included in the RAW Experience price. All flights are arranged by the guests.

Absolutely! These experiences are all about meeting people and forming friendships.
It's also ok to come with a friend/partner - some of our accommodation spots have double/queen bed share options.

The RAW Experience you join will run to a schedule of activities, some of which are bound by time limits. There will be some days where there are options to choose alternative activities. Of course you can sit out activities if you like, but you will be selling yourself short and won't get the full value from the experience.
